Begorragh! Introducing Blind Mans Bluff World Championship & Irish Mythical Championship

The full Irish Winter Festival 2010 tournament schedule was announced today, headlined by the €1,500 + €150 Irish Masters main event. The festival will take place over October Bank Holiday weekend (22nd – 25th) in the Burlington Hotel, Dublin .

New tournament additions to this festival weekend include a €100 + €10 Blind Mans Bluff World Championship event, a €100 + €10 Irish Mythical Championship event and a €200 + €20 NLH Freezeout side event.

Due to the success of the 2009 Irish Masters Super Satellite, where a massive 50 main event seats were won, the €150 + €15 NLH Rebuy event will return to the Irish Winter Festival and will once again be held on the eve of the main event. Both the €500 + €50 NLH Freezeout and €300 + €30 Round of Each Freezeout side events will also recur at this year’s festival due to popular demand.

“The Irish Winter Festival is back in Dublin city centre and it’s bigger than ever before. We’ve got more events for more people at more buy-ins, and have thrown in a heap more entertainment and activities too.” said Paddy Power, Communications Manager for paddypowerpoker.com. “We’ve even added a World Championship event to the proceedings with the new Blind Mans Bluff tournament – so it’s the ideal chance to come down to the festival, play some poker, have the craic, and leave a winner.”

Weekly super satellites to the Irish Masters run on PokerInEurope.com each Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with a variety of feeders running daily. Irish Masters main event seats are being handed out weekly in the IWF Sit & Go Festival and IWF cash races on PokerInEurope.com now.
